Label for Pansofica
We build one record per person from public documents, and we check that work by asking people. You look at two records and say whether they describe the same person.
What the work is

Two records, side by side.
Each record shows a name, a home town, any register numbers, and a history of events with their dates. You read both and compare them.

Three possible answers.
Same person, different people, or cannot tell. Cannot tell is a real answer. If the evidence is not on the page, that is what we need to know.

You never see a real person’s details.
The records are pseudonymized. Names, places and register names are invented, and every date is moved by the same amount, so the order of events and the gaps between them stay true.
How it works

Short sets.
Work comes in short sets of pairs. You can stop after any pair and pick the set up again later.
- 02
A helper you can ask.
A helper sits beside every pair. Ask it about the rules at any time. It explains them and shows you where to look. It does not give you the answer for the pair in front of you.

Check items.
Some pairs are check items with known answers. The one mistake a set cannot contain is saying Same for two people we know are different. When you are unsure, choose Cannot tell and say why: that is never held against you on a check item where we hid the deciding detail.

Two people must agree.
A label counts only when two people, working apart, give the same answer. When they do not, an expert looks at the pair.

Take your time.
Nothing is timed and nobody is ranked on speed. A careful answer is worth more to us than a quick one.
- 06
Raise a concern.
If something about a pair worries you, say so. The pair goes to an expert and leaves your set. It does not count against you.
Pay
- You are paid per accepted set, through Stripe. We never ask for your bank details and never hold them. Stripe does that part.
- The amount per accepted set is shown to you once you have joined. A set that is not accepted is not paid.
- In round 1, accepted sets are recorded against your account and nothing is sent to your bank yet. Your account page always shows what is recorded and what has been paid.
- We do not promise any amount of work. Sets are offered when there is something to check.
Who can apply
Round 1 is by invitation. You need a code from us.
The labeling desk is on pxl8.io, the site of PXL8 Technology, Inc., because that is where accounts live. You sign in or create an account there, enter your code, and accept the draft terms.
The terms
The terms are a draft that our counsel is still reviewing. Joining in round 1 means accepting that draft. Please read it first.
